Ashley Burnett (she/her) utilizes printmaking, painting, and collage to create works layering benign, appropriated images over topics of exclusion, social and religious isolation, and hate. Burnett received her BFA from The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and is currently a MFA candidate at Texas A&M University- Corpus Christi.
Recent exhibitions include Vita Vocare (2021) at the Cultural Arts Center in Temple, Texas, Righteous Indignation (2022) Baugh Center for the Visual Arts in Belton, Texas, and Pressure Island (2022) at Produce Gallery in Corpus Christi, Texas.
